Do I really need a Building and Pest Inspection?

๐Ÿญ Building and Pest Report

I advise all my Buyers to get a Building and Pest Inspection and to treat it like a check list. It can identify existing issues with a property, help Buyers anticipate and plan for future issues and possible expenses involved with them.

Issues arising from the inspections may be deal breakers for Buyers or they may give Buyers a position to negotiate with Sellers over.

Homes can come with expensive surprises โ€“ I always advise Buyers to do an inspection, regardless of whether the property is a new build or established dwelling. You donโ€™t want to find out later that there are major leaks, foundation issues, termite infestations or similar in your new dream home. This could be a costly mistake to make.

Home inspections uncover minor damages and life-threatening issues like asbestos, mould, termites, structural issues, items that may not be to code such as hand rails or more.
